Testimonials

I went to see Helen for an aromatherapy massage and I was amazed how fantastic she was. I really can't fault anything she did, as she gave the best massage EVER! She found out some details before we started and made me feel completely comfortable. She immediately identified my tension areas (neck and shoulders) and used my favourite aromatherapy oil (lemongrass) to make me feel relaxed and happy. I felt she was very intuitive, wise and empathic and understood my needs. Helen is a gem and she deserves to have lots of customers. I will be one of them!

First and foremost: I don't do ooey-ooey ... I'm an analyst by trade, skeptic by nature. BUT, I had a problem with trigger fingers in both hands. At first I would amuse friends and family with the odd clicking motion my fingers could do but steadily the condition worsened and then the pain set in. The doctor informed me that the symptoms could persist or they could go away, but seeing as though a number of my fingers were affected, I'd probably need an operation. As I don't do operations (for no deep reason other than I associate them with further pain) all the doctor could do for me was prescribe some pain relief - suped up Ibuprofen, if memory serves.

Almost as a dare, I contacted Helen and patiently (I had a lot to say about how effective I thought 'holistic-anything' could be) she showed a series of hand massages that I could perform on myself, twice daily, before and after bed. Now, I distinctly remember doing the exercises a handful of times (pun intended). Somewhere along the way, I stopped waking up in the middle of night in absolute pain; I stopped opening my hands, first thing in the morning, gingerly and in anticipation of pain; in short, I stopped being in pain. Thank you so very much.

Well, Helen is amazing and really put me at ease. She was so aware of the areas of my body that needed a 'light' touch and the areas that needed to be worked on. I feel totally rejuvenated each time I have treatments from her and can't wait to have the reflexology treatment which she recommended ... and is well overdue! So I'll be booking that soon. Surbiton is not near to me but I like going to the salon for the atmosphere, the lovely shops nearby and more importantly especially for Helen's expert treatments.

I thoroughly recommend anyone wanting a de-stress/feel good about your body session to book an hour with Helen. She has a comprehensive holistic approach so you can tell her where you are experiencing any particular aches and she tailors her treatment to suit - a mixture of massage / reflexology which inevitably results in one feeling energised and healthier. I also appreciate her suggestions regarding suitable exercises and homeopathic remedies to try between sessions so you can build up an ongoing regime. It's like having regular body MOT's. Thank you Helen.
NB I am 60+ and partly attribute my ability to continue an active life to Helen's holistic skills.

I recommend Helen. Whenever, I can and find her easy-going, engaged and warm. She is pro-active in that she can adjust the treatment according to my personal circumstance.

I really enjoyed my massage. It was long overdue and my body most definitely needed the work done on it. I have had a particular pain in my shoulder for years [just learnt to live with it]; but the treatment with Helen soon shifted some of those tensions. She told me that the pain may return as it's been a longstanding disorder but with more work on it and the surrounding connective tissues, we should soon retrain the muscle to relax in that area. She's convinced me that she knows her stuff. I will definitely be back. I recommend Helen's massage.

Helen was very welcoming and professional, and used the right amount of pressure during my treatment. Helen is booked up in advance for a good reason. Well worth the wait.
